Fairway is an established and unique Not for Profit (Stand-Alone) 65 bed Aged Care Facility in Sandringham.

The history of fairway is essentially connected to the bayside area. It is a triumph of committed local community members who in the mid 1980’s identified a need for high quality aged residential care that captured the spirit of the bayside community. Fairway offers the highest quality clinical care and an innovative commitment to overall resident wellbeing.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lifestyle Coordinator.  This is a part-time position working 4 days per week.

We are looking for candidates with the following

  • Applicants must have Certificate IV or similar qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Promote wellness, independence, social connections and recreation activities based on the assessed needs, interests and capabilities of the residents.
  • Organise and lead social, recreational, physical, spiritual and cultural activities for residents incorporating both individual and group activities.
  • Manage and promote Additional Services Program
  • Ability to involve a community, relatives, staff, and an emphasis on management of volunteers and programs.
  • Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with accreditation requirements and the Aged Care Standards
  • Experience with Dementia care
