Who we are

Fairway is an established and unique Not for Profit (Stand-Alone) 65 bed Aged Care Facility in Sandringham.

The history of fairway is essentially connected to the bayside area. It is a triumph of committed local community members who in the mid 1980’s identified a need for high quality aged residential care that captured the spirit of the bayside community. Fairway offers the highest quality clinical care and an innovative commitment to overall resident wellbeing.

The role

• Part-time and Casual shifts including weekends
• Work in a team environment to encourage and assist our residents’ to socialise and participate.
• Provide emotional support to residents
• Engage with residents in a caring manner
• Facilitate group activities for the residents’ to enjoy

We are looking for candidates with the following

• A natural empathy and a genuine care for our care recipients
• A Certificate 4 in Leisure and Lifestyle desired or be studying
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• A knowledge and understanding of the diverse needs of older people
• A willingness to support the values of Fairway Aged Care
