Fairway is an established and unique Not for Profit (Stand-Alone) 65 bed Aged Care Facility in Sandringham.
The history of fairway is essentially connected to the bayside area. It is a triumph of committed local community members who in the mid 1980’s identified a need for high quality aged residential care that captured the spirit of the bayside community. The role
We are looking for a casual individual to complete the following duties:
- Undertake the scheduled works maintenance program
- Address maintenance action requests as they arise
- Oversee the external contractors scheduled maintenance programs
- Liaise with, and engaging, external contractors as required
- Grounds work to provide a pleasant and safe environment for your residents
- Identify maintenance needs
- Work within the current maintenance budget
We are looking for candidates with the following
The ideal candidate will have trade or skilled handyman experience in the maintenance of a modern Aged Care/ Healthcare facility. They would demonstrate thorough knowledge of legislative requirements pertaining to maintenance and repairs including WHS and Fire Safety. They will be able to communicate easily with a range of internal and external stakeholders and be able to manage emails and administration tasks with ease.
